Certifications & Declarations

apticon FR is a high-quality coating that offers superior protection and durability for indoor surfaces. It has been awarded the indoor air comfort GOLD certification, which guarantees that it meets the strictest standards for low emissions of harmful VOCs, compliant with various international protocols, such as LEED v4.1 BETA (outside US), EU Taxonomy, BREEAM international and NOR, ABG/AgBB, French VOC Regulation and CMR components, and EMICODE. apticon FR is resistant to scratches, chemicals, and corrosion. It has passed rigorous tests for its performance and appearance, such as DIN EN ISO 2812-1, DIN EN ISO 1518-1, DIN EN ISO 2813, and ISO 4628-10. It maintains its gloss and color even after exposure to common household substances, and shows no or minor effect when immersed in various chemical liquids. It also has a high corrosion resistance index (CRI3) according to EN 1396. apticon FR is currently undergoing further tests for its fire safety and suitability for different markets. It is expected to receive the fire classification – euroclassification, the Singapore green building certificate, and the Dubai certificate for indoor use soon.
